HOPI EAR CANDLES Ear candles can be traced back to the Indians of North and South America, but particularly to the Hopi Tribe of Arizona. The “candles” are in fact a hollow tube made of woven cotton, honey extracts, essential oil of sage,100% pure beeswax and crushed Indian medicinal herbs (mainly sage & camomile). The “chimney” effect helps to regulate pressure in the head and encourage wax and debris to be drawn from the ear. After both ears have been treated, a therapeutic face massage is given to complete the process. The treatment is extremely relaxing and can be used for many ear, nose and throat problems including ear infections, problem ear wax, head colds, rhinitis, sinusitis and hay fever. Applying a few drops of warm olive oil into each ear two or three days before treatment may well enhance the process. Sessions last approximately 50 minutes and cost - £25.00 |
